Good News or Bad News

I'm not sure how to take this but my son may or may not be making me a Grandmother on December 11th. He's just not sure if it's his or not. My mother has always said that you can always deny your father but never your mother. Well, that's proving to be true in more ways than one as far as I'm concerned. I've wanted to be an Omie for like forever so in a way I want it to be true but only really if I can be a part of this childs life. For three nights now I've dreamed of a beautiful little golden haired blond baby girl. And now I feel like it's coming true but by how much - only God can lead and direct me/us. I know it'll come out in the end because of my Lord Jesus.

Shhh, It's A Secret!!!!

Years ago, one of my neighbors had several bee hives in his back yard for honey. My flowers have never looked so good as when I lived in that house. I have wanted a bee hive ever since I’ve lived here but one neighbor claims to be allergic even though she’s never been stung. I had a large sworm of bee’s one year in one of my trees. The neighbor sent her husband over to spray my tree when I wasn’t home. I’ve really only considered Honey Bees before. However, last year I learned about the wonderful little Mason Bees. I bought the house but I was too late in the year to order any bees. I tried to capture some anyway with just the house, although, all I got were flies & moths. Well, I remembered this year and My bee’s came! I’ve cleaned out the house and placed the paper straws in. I didn’t have the straws last year either. Since the bees are still in their tubes, I took out one layer of holes and placed the bees on top of all the other holes with newspaper and tape holding them in place. All I need to do now is get them a bucket of mud. I’m figuring that I have too sandy of a soil for them. Next year, I’m planning on another house for the front yard. I’m just not sure where my neighbor won’t see it.

Jolene's Fisherman Afghan

It's finally done!!! Yeah!!! Actually, I finished it a couple days after the Olympics started and mailed it off to her so she'd have on Valentine's Day. Which she did. I'm really pleased with the way it turned out. I even found 25 yards of ABC ribbon at Tuesday Mornings for $1.99 that I added to the edging.

Of course, I do truly believe it helped to enter the Ravelympics again this year in order to get it done. Whatever would I do with my WIP without Ravelry.

Craft Room Storage Made Easy

I really need to rethink my craft room. I know it's in need of a serious purge but I just am going to stew over it for awhile before I come up with a plan. Craft Room Storage Made Easy
